This photo was taken from a weather probe at an altitude of over 30,000 meters. It was built and launched by four teenage students and their professor from IES La Bisbal school in Catalonia, Spain. They equipped the probe with a foam wrapped 'snap-and-shoot' camera along with other electronics, to capture these incredible images! The probe travelled almost 40 kilometers across land, in temperatures as cold as -54C. These guys are gonna be the coolest geeks on the block!

A 30 kilometer ascent...
