Yeah... vacation's over

Guess who's back in da hooouuuussse! With a 20 foot eagle fo yo muthafuckin moooouuuuth!
Finally, my man Tiger is back! He went out yesterday and beat opponent Brendan Jones of Australia 3 & 2 in his first match at the Match Play Championships. Lets just say Mr. Jones was thrilled! Not because he made it into the tournament, but because he ONLY lost 3 & 2. Just ask Stephen Ames what happened at the 2006 Match Play Championships! And you know our Aussie friend was just fighting himself to not just drop his shit, and ask Tiger for an autograph... And I wouldn't blame him!

Fractured Photography

These incredible images are real, however they've been processed through a fractal filter. The software that creates these amazing images is called Fractalius, and the theory as to what the software is actually doing to the photos is far more mathematical than I expected! It creates a fractal, the boundary of a set of points in the complex plane, which is a result from computing Mandelbrot set images. The rest of the mathematics is way too intense, even for me, so we'll just stop there. Who new such elaborate mathematics could be utilized to create such eye-catching images!

Painted Cinema

This is an incredible film created by Reza Dolatabadi, and it is comprised of 6,000 individual paintings that have been filmed to create a five minute feature. So when you break that down, each second of the film is shot using 20 different, yet similar pieces of art. This amazing technique, along with the eerie music makes for a spectacular visual experience.

Joaquin on Letterman last night

Last night, Joaquin Phoenix appeared on Letterman to promote his latest movie, Two Lovers. It also features Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw, and recent reviews call it a "Great showcase", and "Admirably bold" according to the NY Times. But, as we have all seen of recent, Joaquin's pathetic meltdown was in full flight on Letterman last night, and any attempt to promote the film was indirectly, or maybe more so directly quelled by what seemed to be a 'higher than a motherfucka' Joaquin. I don't know what's up with this guy, but if he's just putting on a front, then he's doing a pretty good job. Who knows, maybe he has plummeted into so many drugs, that he's mixing his work with his life, in that he thinks his life is a movie - a 24 hour acting facade. However, I can't disregard the fact that this seems like some malevolent charade, and he's enamored with the reactions he's receiving from the press and tabloids. I mean seriously, when he was talking about his interest in becoming a musician, Letterman referenced how well he sang and performed in Walk the Line, assuming that's the type of music he'd continue with. But no, he then busts out his inclination towards rap and hip hop! Let me get this straight, he wants to become a rap star?? Is this just some giant satirical performance he's putting on?? I think so! Most hip hop artists I'm familiar with like to talk... a lot! This dude barely said five words to Letterman. Dave was trying to pull conversation out, but after Joaquin continuously gave his ignorant one word answers, that's when Dave came out of his shell, proceeding to cut Joaquin down, hard! It was actually hilarious! And that reference to Farrah Fawcett at the end, brilliant. That's why I love Letterman. In case you are unaware with the whole Farrah Fawcett incident, well he stated that was one of his worst interviews ever, which is easy to see with her coked out ass. But, I think he clearly stated it here, that this interview with Joaquin takes the cake.

Fo Real Facebook!

If you haven't already seen this, you gotta watch it! Within the last few years, this Facebook craze has been just that, cray-jay!! This short film brings out all that shit you've heard people talking about, and completely makes fun of it! Even the the first scene, "OMG, my mom added me!" As if you've never heard that before. Shit, I bet you probably experienced it! Now I know it's 20 minutes long, but at least watch the first few scenes.... Trifflin' Ass Hoe!
